Slippery Elm Bark:
Slippery Elm Bark or Ulmus rubra is a tree native to Central and Eastern United States and Ontario Canada. Slippery Elm Bark is shredded and sometimes powdered and used to treat differnet ailments. When the bark is added to water it creates a material called mucilage which can coat the throat soothe the stamach and so much more. Native Americans used it for many ailments like fevers, cold and cuts.
